ciatano winery

a few weekends ago we headed into the mountains with mike and emily just to get away from the city for a day, and we drove to¬†ciatano winery. while everyone was relaxing and enjoying tasting or two, i headed off on my own and snapped a couple pictures. i’m continuing to shoot more film for my personal work, so these were shot on my EOS3 with Portra 400, processed and scanned at walgreens.

on the way back to denver we stopped and had some go-carting fun!

the society gardener. macon, ga

i adored our little house in macon, and i especially loved how close we were to ingleside village. i really miss driving down ingleside, with its quaint cottage houses and perfectly manicured lawns fit for southern living. if you’re in macon then you know all about ingleside, and hopefully you already visit the society gardener! it’s the cutest little gardening shop tucked away in a little alley way in the village. mrs. jackie has filled her shop with green and blossoms, pottery and cast iron beauties that could rival anthropologie any day of the week. i’m already looking forward to my next visit in september! these are just a few film images i took with my EOS3 and portra 400.

mrs. jackie’s niece was visiting from hawaii and helping out for a few weeks earlier this summer…

kate & brian. estes park engagement photographer

i had such a fun time with kate and brian during their estes park engagement session! they drove up the day before and picked the the perfect locations with a mix of nature and small town charm. their love is so evident and smiles so infectious – i can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the air force academy cadet chapel!

and then there were two

the little birdies are growing up so fast! simone and beckett have already flown the coup, but here’s a picture from {three or four} happier days of yore when all four baby birds were together. just look at those little tufts of feathers…ferdinand and francis look like a disgruntled old men!

and here are ferdinand and francis today! much more adorable and just about ready to go into the real world.

of course, mama still keeps her watchful eye…

now, if only mama would clean up after her little ones…
