april and i work at fpd, but our paths don’t cross nearly enough. she and cass met years ago, but it was only recently that they struck up a romance. they both coach basketball, and since that’s what brought them together, it was only fitting that we took our first shots in the fpd gym. it’s funny, but i didn’t even realize that cass had set the time clock to 1:43 (i love you in text message lingo) and their wedding date on the score board. i wish i had come up with that one!

april’s got skills!

Afterwards, we moved outdoors to some property that held special meaning for April and Cass.

just fyi – i l.o.v.e. barns. really. i probably love them more than i should. so i was crazy excited to see that april’s parents had a beautiful barn in their backyard. as we were walking to it, dixie – april’s mom’s horse – started following them like a puppy. she gave us all a good laugh and left me wishing i had a horse (or two)!

i think dixie was sad to see us go…
